GRACE
Today "grace" manifested cellularly on the table during a cranial treatment. A beautiful woman who lives a life of service embodied grace in a way I have never felt before. It was a cellular feeling of being gentle with oneself, a place for forgiveness for ourselves in how much we expect from ourselves not that we have done wrong. A sensation of fullness, completeness, beauty. A spaciousness. Spaciousness to just Be.
Afterward I looked up the definition to see what other's define "grace" to be. Merriam-Webster says: "unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification. A virtue coming from God." Sanctification means "the act of sanctifying, of being made or becoming holy."
I always squirm when I hear things like "unmerited" but if you take that out and say divine manifestation of holiness I am good with that.
From where I stand we are all emanations of Source, Universal Intelligence, GOD (Generating Organizing Designs of Creation as per Tantra Maat). Like waves on an ocean, if ocean was source/divine/GOD we are all our unique and essential aspects that once done with this lifetime resorb and form into a new wave. In this way we are always part of Grace, but allowing it to be felt and being embodied in it came in in a new way today.
This same patient has taken this year to invite "spaciousness" into her life and asks herself in many moments and even in very difficult ones"how is this perfect?" I love both of these focus points for 2020. As our treatment was concluding today what came in for me is "how is this grace?"
How do you register grace? How do you experience it?
