Is your Neck Holding Stress?

So often patients come in and say "my neck hurts, it is where I hold my stress."I tell them honestly, we need to change that, we cannot hold stress in our bodies.

Easier said than done. Today, after a week out of the office, I noticed a trend. Many people had very tight necks, and none of them adjusted well, the muscles were too bound. This is NOT NORMAL for me. Usually, necks adjust well with a great release. And today most of my patients had tight necks, and with the exception of a few pregnant women and kids, no one's neck adjusted well.

Makes me think. Is the stress of the world manifesting here? There is definitely increased stress and heartbreak with the invasion of the Ukraine. We are all feeling it.

Solution? Move energy through your body. If you feel tension and pain in your neck, breath and imagine it flowing down and out your arms and hands transmuting into love and light as it leaves your body. Keep in a flow. Re-establish flow.

Two or three of my patients today said they were in just to get back in their flow. SMART!

I love taking 3mg of melatonin on nights when I have more stress. Melatonin is a hormone harmonizer and decreases with age, so why not support these pathways? It is also great for the immune system.

As we end our day today, let us be thankful for the gifts in our lives and hold those whose lives have been forever changed this last week in our hearts and minds.

Blessings.
